What is the role about?
For a leading and international marketing company, you will be responsible to develop applications that helps design, develop, store and deliver marketing products to clients in the Retail sector. Applications can include workflow applications and webshops.
The team consist of 35 developers of different nationalities. Right now we are looking for a Java Fullstack Developer who is able to complete projects independently. The company recently moved from Angular to React and so experience with React is also preferred. At first, you would be involved in a project that migrates applications to React. This project is 80% frontend and 20% backend. When this project is complete, the division will be 50/50 backend and frontend.

Responsibilities

• The design, development, deployment and continuous improvement of the Marketing Operations Suite
• Designing the prototype application and indicate software architecture
• Coordinate application development plans with the development team or customer.
• You will work on Web Services, API’s and Open Standards;
• You deliver with a test-driven development approach;
• You implement best-practice design patterns to keep solutions maintainable and testable;

Job requirements

• College or University degree in Computer Science or a related discipline (software engineering, artificial intelligence, etc.)
• Experience with Java web application development
• Experience with React, HTML5, Javascript and CSS
• Practical experience with some of the following:
  • IntelliJ, Hibernate, Spring, Spring Boot, Tomcat, MySQL, JSON and XML
  • REST and SOAP
  • AWS, Docker, and CI/CD
  • Javascript frameworks like node.js/Typescript/Angular
  • SSO and workflow engines (desirable)
• Self-motivated, able to work proficiently both independently and in a team environment
