What is the project about?

Our company utilizes IBM App Connect Enterprise as its Enterprise Service Bus (ESB). The ESB plays a crucial role in integrating various business systems and streamlining data and message flows. The Integration team is seeking a Developer with knowledge and experience in designing, developing, and implementing ESB services, preferably with IBM ACE ESB.
              
Responsibilities

  • Designing, developing, and implementing ESB services
  • Troubleshooting errors and collaborating closely with the requirements engineers, administrators, and testers.

Job requirements

  • Experience with Windows Server 2016/2019 (/2022)
  • Experience with IBM ESB-related products (such as ACE and MQ)
  • Knowledge of various integration protocols, such as HTTP, REST, SOAP, MQ, etc.
  • Proficiency in XML and JSON
  • DevOps experience with knowledge and expertise in DevOps practices and tools
  • Demonstrable experience in developing complex integrations
  • Experience with PowerShell scripting
  • Familiarity with Git and experience using it
  • Experience with Azure DevOps (repositories, pipelines, CI/CD)
  • Based in the Netherlands (or at least in the NL time zone +/- 1 hour)
  • Dutch-speaking (minimum B2 level)

Some other technologies you might work with / Nice to have:

  • Recent experience in building integrations in IBM ACE (v12)
  • Knowledge of SOAP-UI
  • Experience with Data Format Description Language (DFDL)
