Responsibilities

• Work with the team in defining and reviewing telco cloud strategies, designs, and roadmaps.
• Participate in agile ceremonies for SRE of Telco Cloud (refinement, planning, review, …).
• Assisting in the implementation of business projects.
• Identification and implementation of telco cloud reliability services.
• Deliver managed telco cloud services to application implementation teams.
• Execute CICD pipeline skeletons and integrate standard changes.
• Document and transfer the necessary knowledge to other operational teams.
• Define and follow-up processes, standards and best practices for optimal use of telco cloud infrastructure.
• Willing to work in an on-call rotation within the Telco Cloud Service Reliability Engineering group.
• Solve L2/L3 incidents and problems on the platform.
• Provide input to incidents for application L2/L3 teams when requested.
• Language – English is key,

Job requirements

• You have basic knowledge and a first-hand experience with Virtualization and Kubernetes platform services. And you are willing to grow your expertise and/or strong interest in some of the following areas:
• Supporting a Virtualization platform running vCloud Director and/or NSX(-T) (VMWare).

• Supporting a Kubernetes platform and running applications in a cloud-native setup (GDC-V).
• CI/CD (GitLab CI) with automated QA, SAST, SCA and deploy stages.

Nice to have:

• Experience in agile environment and tooling (Jira, Confluence) or willingness to work Agile.
• Infra as Code and Configuration Mgmt (Terraform, GCP Config Sync, GitOps, Ansible, …).
• Network knowledge (VPC, Routing, Dedicated Interconnect, ALB, NLB, DNS, …).
• Running containers in a highly available way (Docker, K8S, OpenShift, AKS, EKS, Helm, …).
• Python, Kopf, YAML,…
• Monitoring (vROPS, Prometheus, ELK, …).
• Using centralized authentication and federation (eg Kerberos, SAML, GCP Secrets).
• Well versed in Linux environments
• Dutch is an asset.
