General information

  • Duration:                          First contract is for 12 month.

What is the role about?
For a leading and international marketing company, you will be responsible to develop applications that helps design, develop, store and deliver marketing products to clients in the Retail sector. Applications can include workflow applications and webshops.
The team consist of 35 developers of different nationalities. Right now we are looking for a frontend developer who can take a lead and give direction to colleagues and to projects. The company recently moved from Angular to React and so experience with React is important.

Responsibilities

  • Concepting, designing, building, and maintaining (micro) front-end applications
  • Deliver with a test-driven development approach
  • Coaching other team members to reach the common sprint goals
  • Promote and follow best-practice design patterns to keep solutions maintainable and testable

Job requirements

  • College or University degree in Computer Science or a related discipline (software engineering, artificial intelligence, etc.)
  • Experience with leading development projects, with steering its direction
  • Expert knowledge of Javascript (ES2020) / Typescript and React
  • Advanced state management (Redux/NGRX) and reactive programming principles
  • Bundlers/builders like Webpack, Parcel or Bazel
  • TDD and test frameworks like Jest and Cypress
  • Design systems
  • REST, GraphQL and gRPC
  • The obvious skills: HTML/CSS, Git, feeling for UI/UX
  • Self-motivated, able to work proficiently both independently and in a team environment

Some other technologies you might work with / Nice to have:

  • Docker and Kubernetes
  • Continuous- Integration and Delivery
  • Event-based and cloud-native systems (AWS)
  • Configuration management (Ansible, Terraform)
