What is the project about?
Become a team member withing the Corporate Banking Production Services area, where you will play a pivotal role in developing and maintaining a new global core banking system for the wholesale bank. Your team is responsible for offering services to operational departments worldwide, aiming to enhance the corporate bank’s capabilities for a client-centric, transparent, compliant, and operationally excellent approach. Aligned with this mission, the team is actively involved in the Core Banking Transformation (CBT) program, a strategic initiative within the Wholesale International organization. Within CBT, the team is tasked with seamlessly replacing existing local Corporate Banking applications with a unified global platform and establishing an Open Banking Layer to connect with the external environment. These efforts contribute to the overall objectives of W&R to become a client-centric bank, improving customer experience, reducing costs and operational risks, easing regulatory compliance, enhancing efficiency, and fostering innovation.

As a key member of the team, your focus on release testing is crucial. You will be an integral part of the Core Banking Transformation Programme, collaborating closely with other areas and squads within the bank (Trade Finance, Facilities, and Accounts & Payments) as well as external third parties.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of the teams monthly release test coordination, preparing the release test report advising on the go-live of the release. The monthly release, managed by the Corporate Banking Transformation Squads, implements changes essential for onboarding new regions.
• Conclude on the inclusion of work items in a monthly release, ensuring alignment with Squads on the test approach, test coverage, and test environments.
• Coordinate various tests across multiple Squads and Areas, including:
  • Downstream test towards Global Finance, involving sharing an overview with changes in the teams monthly release scope; confirming downstream test changes; coordinating test scenario preparation and execution by responsible Squads; delivering handoff files to Finance for processing; concluding on validation results by Finance BA, Product Control, and Data Steward.
  • Cross-functional test across Flexcube modules by involved Squads.
• Coordinate teams test environment allocation and connections to other test systems.
• Coordinate end-user testing as an integral part of the monthly release.

Job requirements

• Experience in test management for large programmes;
• Certifications in the field of test management;
• Hands on experience with Azure DevOps;
• Knowledge of Financing and Banking in general;
• You have a proactive and transparent attitude towards test activities, providing critical insights into software quality for decision-making regarding project progression
• You have the ability to coordinate activities across locations, multitask efficiently in a deadline-driven environment;
• You are comfortable to be the testing liaison on a business, a functional and a technical level;
• Proven experience with Scrum/Agile;
• Proficient in English on a professional level.
